First ball was a length delivery and Bhatia hit it hard past midwicket for a boundary! Steyn bowled the second ball slightly wide and Bhatia couldn't make a contact on that occasion. Third ball was a length delivery againt and Bhatia hit it towards long-on, where Finch took an excellent catch diving to his front! James Faulkner is the new man in. He is not a tail-ender by any standards. Steyn offered Binny some room off the next ball and Binny worked it past the fielder at point for a much-needed boundary! It was all about perfect timing on that stroke. Binny made some room for himself off the next ball, Steyn pitched it outside the off-stump for no run. Nine runs from the over. =================================================== Over 18 || Score 117/5 Amit Mishra to continue. Binny takes a single off the first ball. Mishra bowls a dot ball to Hodge. Mishra bowls a superb googly and Hodge was almost bowled, another dot ball. Hodge went for the slog sweep off the fourth ball, which lands straight into the hands of Darren Sammy at deep midwicket! That was quite unnecessary as Hodge being new at the crease, should have rotated the strike. Rajat Bhatia is the new man in. The fifth ball drifted on the leg side and Binny swept it past square leg for a boundary! Binny scored a couple of runs off the last ball. Seven runs from the over. BJ Hodge c Sammy b Mishra 1 (8b) =================================================== Over 17 || Score 110/4 Karn Sharma to bowl his second over, Brad Hodge is the new man in. Just two runs from the over. The Royals now need 24 runs from 18 balls. =================================================== Over 16 || Score 108/4 Amit Mishra to bowl his third over. AM Rahane c Finch b Mishra 59 (53b) =================================================== Over 15 || Score 102/3 Hyderabad need wickets, which is why Steyn has been brought back into the attack. Steyn's second ball was a length delivery and Rahane played that fine past a diving fielder at mid-off for another boundary! This will relieve a lot of pressure for these two. 13 runs from the over. Nothing is working for Hyderabad at the moment. This partnership is now worth 71 runs and Rajasthan now need 32 runs from the last five overs. Sunrisers would be very releived with Watson's dismissal. SR Watson c Rahul b I Sharma 3 (7b) ============================================================== Over 6 || Score 30/2 Kumar to bowl his third over. AJ Finch c Richardson b Kulkarni 2 (5b) ============================================================== TOSS: Shane Watson has won the toss and Rajasthan Royals will bowl first. It will be a very interesting match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals, as both the teams will have new captains for this season. Rajasthan Royals ended up being the third best team in the last year`s IPL. Led by Rahul Dravid, the Royals won the hearts of several cricket fans with their determination to excel, despite lacking too many big names in their squad. Under the stewardship of Rahul Dravid – who will perform mentor`s role this time, the Royals` performance showed some signs of improvement, though only to perish at the play-offs. The team often considered as the under-dogs, is best at stunning the oppositions. The young boys who are coached and mentored under the brilliance of Paddy Upton and Rahul Dravid, make it a point to make their presence felt, whenever they get an opportunity. The highlight of this franchise, is the way they promote all sorts of players despite their age and experience. While 19-year-old Sanju Samson seems to be the brightest youngster in the tournament, 42-year-old Pravin Tamble grabbed the opportunity with both hands when he got to play a few matches last year. Tambe not only impressed the best of experts with his variations, but also touched the hearts of the cricket fans through his journey to the Rajasthan squad.
