==============================================================

TOSS: Rohit Sharma has won the toss and he has decided to field first.

Defending champions Mumbai Indians have looked totally off-colour this season. They are currenlty ranked second from the bottom in the points table and would want to do well as the league stage is heading towards its end.

Mumbai have found a good opener in Lendl Simmons and with Michael Hussey making an impressive comeback in the previous match, Mumbai`s top order needs to fire up on all cylinders considering that most of the batsmen have now struck form.

In the bowling department, Lasith Malinga`s absence is something which would only add to their woes, and even though Santokie has a lot of variation in his bowling, the Windies pacer can never fill Malinga`s shoes. Harbhajan Singh has been in brilliant form for them and the team management would want `The Turbanotor` to continue his good run in the seventh edition.

On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab have been in excellent form this season, and despite having sealed their berth for the play-offs, the George Bailey-led side would want to continue their good show. Glenn Maxwell continues to be a major threat for any bowling attack and considering that he has not had much success in the last few games, the Mohali crowd can expect another blitzkrieg knock from the Australian all-rounder.
