  • Zaheer Khan (4-0-53-0) has posted his worst bowling performance in IPL, outstripping his figures of 4-0-46-0 for Bangalore against Rajasthan at Jaipur on May 17, 2008.
  • Zaheer has conceded 182 runs in five matches - the most by any bowler in the IPL 4.

  • Gayle`s aforesaid knock is the second highest for Bangalore in the IPL. Manish Pandey had registered 114 not out off 73 balls against Deccan at Centurion on May 21, 2009.
  • Chris Gayle and Tillakaratne Dilshan were associated in a partnership of 123 for the first wicket - Bangalore`s highest in the IPL, surpassing the 93 (unbroken) between Jacques Kallis and Manish Pandey against Rajasthan at Bangalore on March 18, 2010.
  • The aforesaid stand is the highest for any wicket for Bangalore against Kolkata in the IPL. The said partnership is the second of 100-plus for Bangalore for any wicket. Jacques Kallis and Robin Uthappa had shared a second wicket partnership of 126 (unbroken) against Mumbai at Johannesburg on May 3, 2009.
  • Chris Gayle became the third batsman to register a hundred in the IPL 4 - the first two being Punjab`s Paul Valthaty and Mumbai`s Sachin Tendulkar.
  • Gayle has been adjudged the Man of the Match for the second time in the IPL for recording his second hundred in Twenty20.
  • Gayle became the third batsman to record a century against Kolkata in the IPL - the first two being 110 not out by Mahela Jayawardene for Punjab at Kolkata on April 4, 2010 and 107 not out by David Warner for Delhi at Delhi on March 29, 2010.
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore have registered a nine-wicket win - their biggest against Kolkata in the IPL, surpassing the seven-wicket win at Bangalore on April 10, 2010.
