Cowell spends £50K to transform X-Factor studio into own ‘haven of calm’

Music mogul Simon Cowell is said to have spent 50,000 pounds on getting the top floor of the ‘X Factor’ studios transformed into his private “haven of calm”.

London: Music mogul Simon Cowell is said to have spent 50,000 pounds on getting the top floor of the ‘X Factor’ studios transformed into his private “haven of calm”.Cowell, 49, has hired a team of designers to refit it in time for the live shows, and it will be painted all white and kitted out with plasma TVs, a top-of-the-range sound system and a relaxation room.
The top floor of the Fountain TV studios in northwest London used to be designated for contestants, presenters and studio guests, but it will now to be used solely by Cowell. “It will be designed like a sanctuary. The aim will be so he can watch the dress rehearsals in peace,” the Mirror quoted a show insider as saying. “It will be divided into sections so he has a relaxation room for himself and his guests, a shower suite, vanity area and walk-in wardrobe. “The new format means there will be live shows on Saturdays and Sundays. “As Simon will be spending twice as much time there, he wanted to make sure he has a comfortable environment to relax and unwind in. “He’s going to be spending a lot of time in the studios and wanted to make it a home from home,” the source said. Britain’s Got Talent co-judge Piers Morgan, 44, had written on his blog two months ago how Cowell had already moved floors. "He’s suddenly moved to a different floor at Fountain Studios from Amanda Holden and I, further evidence that he now thinks he’s Emperor Nero,” he stated. ANI
