New Delhi: Incredible details of Muhammad Ali's final moments were made public by his daughter in an emotional post on Twitter.

She wrote that the three-time world heavyweight champion's heart kept beating for a full 30 minutes even after the rest of his body shut down.

The 74-year-old Ali — known as “The Greatest” — passed away on late Friday at an Arizona hospital due to respiratory problems.

His official cause of death was septic shock due to “unspecified natural causes”, family spokesman Bob Gunnell had said.

The fighter had suffered for 35 years with Parkinson’s disease, diagnosed three years after his retirement in 1981.

A public memorial service and funeral procession will be held on Friday for Ali in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, where he will be buried.

Former United States President Bill Clinton will deliver a eulogy.
