Arsenal, Spurs lock horns over Dutch striker
London: Arsenal has said that they are ready to challenge the Tottenham Spurs in the race to claim Real Madrid and Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
The Dutchman, 26, has turned down Stuttgart in favour of a move to the English Premier League.
The Gunners management has said that it is ready to offer 16.5 million pounds for Klass.
Huntelaar joined Real Madrid in January in a 20 million pound deal with Ajax, but Madrid is ready to let him go as they have signed Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema this summer.
