Munich: Fearing that Arjen Robben might be lured by rich English club, Bayern Munich have made an offer that will make him the highest paid player in their history.
Robben’s agent has confirmed that there is a “concrete interest” from some of the big English club, The Mirror reports.
“Arjen can make all the difference in a team. That’s why I want him to stay,’’ Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.
Rummenigge has made 170,000 pounds-a-week offer to the winger in an all-out effort to prevent him from leaving the club.
