Yaya Toure set to stay on at Manchester City after agreeing to new deal

Manchester City footballer Yaya Toure is set to sign a new 45 million-pound deal at the club.

London: Manchester City footballer Yaya Toure is set to sign a new 45 million-pound deal at the club.
He has reportedly agreed to a new contract worth 220,000 pounds-a week for the next four years. The Ivory Coast star, who was disillusioned after contract talks had been stalled for six months, has been involved in negotiations with Manchester City officials over an extension of his contract since he got back from international duty. The mid-fielder`s agent had revealed that Toure was ready to quit City unless his contract was sorted out quickly, following which City instantly moved in to thrash out a new deal to hold on to one of their biggest stars. Toure, who joined from Barcelona in a 24 million-pound switch in July 2010, has been fundamental to City`s success in the last couple of years. ANI
