London: Tottenham Hotspurs manager Andre Villas-Boas has denied that Spurs is a one-man team, following winger Gareth Bale`s eight winning goals this season.
With 20 strikes in 30 outings and double PFA awards to his credit, Bale has gone ahead to declare victory over Southampton. While Bale remains the sole Spurs player who has scored in every League game, Villas-Boas insisted that all teams that have qualified for the League championship have standout players who can make a difference such as Chelsea`s Frank Lampard, Juan Mata and Eden Hazard, Manchester United`s Robin Van Persie. Villas-Boas has hit out at critics who recognize Bale to be the consistent striker for Spurs this season, saying that it is fortunate that Bale is in good form, but at the end, the team has to produce to enjoy the moment of brilliance, adding that it is going to be a tough competition where winning one match is not sufficient with some teams battling for survival, while others facing difficult fixtures.
