Premier League title win will make Man City world beaters: Yaya Toure

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has said he wants to take his team forward to help it become the world’s best football team.

London: Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has said he wants to take his team forward to help it become the world’s best football team.
The Ivorian scored twice at Newcastle United last Sunday to take City within touching distance of a first league title since 1968, but Toure insists this is only going to be the start for City’s domination.
“I want to help the club go forward and make it bigger than any club in the world. That’s why I came here, to help the team and give my experience to the guys. We have grown as a team. I came to this club to win things and I want to win things. We started that last season with the FA Cup,” The Sun quoted Toure, as saying. “We have a team of owners, managers, coaches, players and fans who are all together in their desire to win. We work well together and we are learning every day how to be better, stronger and successful,” he added. “I said a long time ago I wanted to come to a club to make a story and my decision was to come to City. I think I made the right choice,” he said. Toure insisted he was happy at the Etihad, and feels like an important player at the club despite claiming he wants a return at Barcelona earlier. He said: “You want to be an important player and at Barcelona it was not enough. At Barcelona I was a good player but at City I am an important player for the team.” ANI
