Suarez should have been sent off: Rooney

It seems that the tension between Liverpool and Manchester United won’t be over, at least for the near future.

London: It seems that the tension between Liverpool and Manchester United won’t be over, at least for the near future.
On Monday, United’s Wayne Rooney added fuel to the fire by saying that Luis Suarez should have been sent off for his charge against Tottenham’s Scott Parker on Monday. The striker wrote on his twitter account, “If ref sees that kick from Suarez and books him for it, it should be red." The Uruguayan made a comeback against Tottenham on Monday after serving an eight-match ban for racially abusing Manchester United’s Patrice Evra. The striker received a yellow card for kicking Scott parker in the stomach that led Rooney expressing his opinion on the incident on the micro blogging site. Rooney was backed by another former United star, Gary Neville, saying Suarez was lucky to have gotten off easily for the act. "He`s been lucky, the ref`s let him off with one there." he was quoted as saying by The Sun on Tuesday. Liverpool’s manager Kenny Dalglish refused to comment on the issue. "I don`t have a view on them." he was quoted as saying. United and Liverpool will faceoff on Saturday that may see Suarez start at Old Trafford.
