Washington: Tiger Woods’ victory in the US PGA Tour’s Memorial tournament has been marred by news of the arrest of his manager Mark Steinberg on drink driving charges in suburban New York.
Woods admitted he had spoken with Steinberg before Sunday’s final round but the 14-time Major winner declined to comment on his arrest. Police say Steinberg was stopped during a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday night in Ardsley and was arrested on driving while intoxicated. Steinberg was arrested after he was issued a field sobriety test. Police say his blood alcohol content was .18 per cent, which exceeds the legal limit in New York of .08 per cent. ANI
