Eaton led by 151 points going into the final event, the 1,500 metres, and delivered the average run he needed for gold in four minutes, 33.59 seconds. Spotakova hurled her javelin 69.55 metres to take gold with a season best throw, although she failed to trouble her own world record of 72.28. Bulgaria`s Stanka Zlateva won the first round 1-0 but was pinned by Vorobieva 46 seconds into the second round and lost the match to the 21-year-old student from Siberia. Phogat out of Olympics Geeta Phogat lost the repechage round to Tetyana Lazareva of Ukraine 0-3 to crash out of the Olympics. Swimming Marathon (10km): Eva Risztov of has won Olympic women's swimming marathon by just 0.4 seconds at London's Hyde Park. Women's Boxing 17-year-old Claressa Shields of USA has won the gold medal in women’s middleweight (75kg) category defeating Nadezda Torlopova of Russia 19-12. Ireland's Katie Tayor has won the Women's Light (60kg) gold defeating Sofya Ochigava of Russia. Nicola Adams of Great Britain becomes the first women’s boxing gold medalist (51kg) in Olympics. She defeated Cancanren of China 16-7. Geeta Phogat in Bronze medal contention India's Geeta Phogat will now contest in repechage round where she has to overcome two opponents to lay her hand on bronze medal. Women’s football Canada have won the bronze medal after a stoppage-time goal gave them a 1-0 victory over France. Geeta loses opening bout Geeta Phogat of India lost in the 55kg class wrestling bout to Verbeek Tonya Lynn of Canada. She has another attempt left to clear 1.85. 1.80: Women's high jump qualification event is underway. India's Sahana Kumari has cleared her first height of 1.80 in her first attempt.
