Two time Olympian, Manavjt, had won gold medal at the 2006 ISSF World Shooting Championships, bronze medal in the trap event at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, gold at 1998 Commonwealth Games. He also won silver medals at 1998 Asian Games, 2002 Asian Games, 2006 Asian Games and four gold medals at the Asian Clay Shooting Championships.
