Olympics 2012 tennis: Azarenka reaches semifinals
World No.1 Victoria Azarenka secured a win over Germany`s seventh seed Angelique Kerber to reach the semi-finals of women`s singles in Olympics tennis competition here Thursday.

London: World No.1 Victoria Azarenka secured a win over Germany`s seventh seed Angelique Kerber to reach the semi-finals of women`s singles in Olympics tennis competition here Thursday.
The Belarusian needed little more than an hour to beat Kerber 6-4, 7-5. Azarenka will next play either fourth seed Serena Williams or eighth seed Caroline Wozniacki in the semifinals.
If Azarenka wins a medal, it will be Belarus`s first-ever Olympic medal in tennis.
