Former One driver Rubens Barrichello said he was satisfied with his Brazilian stock car debut despite finishing in the 22nd spot.

Rio de Janeiro: Former One driver Rubens Barrichello said he was satisfied with his Brazilian stock car debut despite finishing in the 22nd spot.
The 40-year-old confirmed his participation for the Sunday race hours after his first test-drive for the Medley/Full Time team, reports Xinhua.
"It was a lot of fun. It`s a shame there was a jam at the beginning of the race. It was like a shopping centre car park," said Barrichello, who qualified 15th on the grid. "I took a hit from behind which shook the car. I lost my radio signal and had no way of telling the team I wanted all of the tyres changed. They only changed one which left the car unbalanced. "The experience was well worth it. Today I was able to fully appreciate the difference when racing in a closed car." Mobil Super Pioneer`s Atila Abreu won the race with Allam Khodair (Boettger Competicoes) taking the second spot after a strong finish. Barrichello will compete in the season`s final two races in Brasilia Nov 11 and at the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo Dec 9. The Brazilian made a record 322 Grand Prix starts during his 19-year Formula One career, finishing second in the drivers championship with Ferrari in 2002 and 2004. IANS
