Starting 24th on the grid, Karun survived umpteen intrigues to finish 18th in the race, which saw a McLaren one two headed by Lewis Hamilton with Jenson Button following him to the chequered flag.At least thrice Liuzzi came in contact with Felipe Massa`s Ferrari and lost the front nose in the bargain that necessitated an early pit stop.
