Badminton tournament opens in Vietnam
As many as 269 badminton players from 14 countries and regions gathered on Tuesday in Vietnam`s capital Hanoi to compete at the Ciputra Hanoi Vietnam Challenge 2013.

Hanoi: As many as 269 badminton players from 14 countries and regions gathered on Tuesday in Vietnam`s capital Hanoi to compete at the Ciputra Hanoi Vietnam Challenge 2013.
The tournament, which opened here on Tuesday, is a ranking event of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and the Badminton Asia Confederation (BAC).
Held annually since 2009, the event offers prizes worth $15,000.
