New Delhi: Badminton Association of India General Secretary Vijay Sinha today blamed BAI President VK Verma for noncooperation and postponed tomorrow`s executive committee meeting in Lucknow by 10 days.
In a letter to Verma, Sinha claimed that the BAI chief`s stubborn attitude forced him to reschedule the meeting for August 10. "Your noncooperation and stubborn stance has created obstruction and hindrance in holding the scheduled meeting of the EC which is in contravention and defiance of interim order dated July 29, 2010, passed by Ld Civil Judge (Senior Division) Mohanlalganj, Lucknow...," the letter said."Your refusal thus amounts to contempt of the Hon`ble Court and this letter is without prejudice to my right to take necessary steps," the letter added. Sinha recently had circulated a letter to all the state units calling a BAI executive committee meeting in Lucknow on July 31.However, Verma has also convened another BAI executive committee meeting on August 13 in Hyderabad.
