Gajjar, Malik in second round of ITF event

USD 10,000 International Tennis Federation (ITF) Futures tournament here today. In the second round, Gajjar may lock horns with another Indian if qualifier Sriram Narayanaswamy wins his first-round encounter against Jae-Won Choi of South Korea. Another Indian Vijayant Malik also qualified for the next round after beating compatriot Yannick Nelord 6-3 6-3. Meanwhile, Indian wildcard Vidhan Vyas went down to fifth seed British Chris Eaton 3-6 0-6, while compatriot another wildcard Vinod Sridhar squandered an early lead before losing to American Shane La Porte 7-5 1-6 3-6.
