USD 10,000 International Tennis Federation (ITF) Futures
tournament here today.
In the second round, Gajjar may lock horns with another
Indian if qualifier Sriram Narayanaswamy wins his first-round
encounter against Jae-Won Choi of South Korea.
Another Indian Vijayant Malik also qualified for the next
round after beating compatriot Yannick Nelord 6-3 6-3.
Meanwhile, Indian wildcard Vidhan Vyas went down to fifth
seed British Chris Eaton 3-6 0-6, while compatriot another
wildcard Vinod Sridhar squandered an early lead before losing
to American Shane La Porte 7-5 1-6 3-6.
