National camp junior hockey team begins in Bangalore

New Delhi: The national camp for the junior men`s hockey team ahead of the seventh Junior Asia Cup in Malaysia started at the SAI Centre in Bangalore on Thursday.

This camp, which will be attended by 48 probables, will continue till the departure of the team for the Junior Asia Cup to be held at Malacca, Malaysia from May 3-13.

Apart from India and hosts Malaysia, seven other teams which will be participating in the Junior Asia Cup are Korea, Pakistan, Japan, China, Bangladesh, Iran and Sri Lanka.
