Lindsey Vonn credits mum, Woods for beating her Sochi Olympics blues

Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn has credited her mother Lindy Lund and beau Tiger Woods for helping her cope with the fact that she will not be able to compete in 2014`s Sochi Olympics as she`s recovering from a recent knee surgery.

The Olympic gold medalist asserted that her mom`s support has meant a lot to her and her toughness and positivity have always helped her get through challenges, especially her injuries, People Magazine reported. The blonde beauty asserted that her mum always sees the positives in everything and always says, "There`s always tomorrow and there`s always another race." Vonn added that her golfing legend boyfriend has also helped her beat her Olympics blues as he continuously reminds her to be patient, that everything is going to be fine. Vonn added that she really appreciates all the support he has given her and it makes a big difference.
