London: Lewis Hamilton is reportedly ready for a reconciliation with ex girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger, following weeks of heart-to-heart conversations.
According to sources close to the Formula 1 driver, he is considering getting back together with the former Pussycat Doll, after an extended Christmas-period training break in Colorado, where the couple seemed to have met to discuss their future.
When they broke up, Scherzinger was based in Los Angeles because of her role as a judge on the American version of ‘The X Factor’, and Hamilton had made a home in Switzerland for tax reasons.
However, it was confirmed last week that the singer had been sacked from the US show.
She has been approached to be a judge on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new ITV series ‘Superstar’.
The talent show will search for an actor to play the title role in a new production of Jesus Christ Superstar, a move that would see her based in the UK for up to six months.
This would allow the couple to spend plenty of time together as Hamilton’s McLaren team has its headquarters in Surrey.
Hamilton, who won the Formula 1 world title in 2008, is said to be keen for some stability in his personal life following a tumultuous 2011 season.
“My personal life has always been a part of my life that’s been really positive. But last year I didn’t think anything was positive,” the Daily Mail quoted him as saying last week at the launch of the new McLaren race car.
“I was all over the place. There were times when I was juggling too many things.
“There were too many questions unanswered, things hanging over me I hadn’t clarified or fixed or figured out.
“I didn’t have the pieces of the puzzle in place, I didn’t know which part went where,” he added.
