Mumbai, June 24: Shahid Kapur is an angry man and it has got nothing to do with his endless link-ups. The actor whose identity has been stolen on the virtual space seems to have found a new much valid reason to fume and fuss. Joining the ranks of top shot celebs whose fake profiles have become infamous for several unsavory reasons on social networking sites, Shahid is breathing fire as he is being impersonated on Twitter. The actor, who is known for being active on networking sites, recently came to know about his own fake account. Horrified and appalled, the macho hunk is in no mood to let the incident go as the notorious individual is using Shahid’s name to not only connect with his fans but also spread all kinds of sleazy gossip about him.
Confirming the news, a source close to the actor told a news daily, "Shahid`s identity has been stolen by someone in virtual space and Shahid has not taken this lightly. The problem is that this particular person who has opened an account in the name of Shahid Kapur has been connecting with his fans and posing as if he is the real Shahid. This is a clear case of impersonation as well as cheating many who adore the actor."
Worried that the impersonator might end up maligning his image, Shahid is all set to go to the root of the problem. Speaking to a news daily, the actor said, "My friends brought to my notice that there is a profile of Shahid Kapur that is active on Twitter, and this person has been connecting with my fans who don`t know that the ID is fake.”
Well, looks like the news should caution the troublemakers.
