Wawrinka and Federer have locked horns against each other 13 times in the past, and the only time Wawrinka defeated Federer was in 2009, that too on clay. But for an all-Swiss final to happen, 32-year-old Federer would have to first beat Rafael Nadal, who played a tough quarter final match against Grigor Dimitrov to reach the Australian Open semi-finals.
