Serena says she is like fine wine, after winning Italian Open

Serena Williams says that she is like wine and getting better with age as she glided into the French Open, after a triumphant win at the Italian Open last week.

Washington: Serena Williams says that she is like wine and getting better with age as she glided into the French Open, after a triumphant win at the Italian Open last week.
The 32 year old tennis star believes that her game has enhanced in spirit with the gaining of age although she still had qualms about her fitness and health.
According to Sports24, Williams was forced to retire from Madrid Masters at the quarter-final stage with an injured leg but her romp in Paris just a week later restored her as an overwhelming favourite. Williams, jubilant by her win, said that she hoped to win another Grand Slam title before she retires but does not want to gaze too far ahead into the future. Reports have further added that another Grand Slam win would have great significance for Williams as it would put her level with legends like Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova on the all-time winners list with 18 singles titles, and leave her just four shy of the Open-era record held by Steffi Graf.
