SSB starts first border outpost training module

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on Monday started its first on-field Border Outpost (BoP) training module for its 50,000 personnel guarding the India-Nepal and India-Bhutan borders. The exercise is aimed to refresh critical learning elements and boost the effectiveness and professionalism of the force.

The country's balance of payments (BoP) remained surplus for the fourth consecutive year at USD 6.9 billion for the second quarter, narrower than USD 11.2 billion surplus in the first quarter, the Reserve Bank of India said Monday.
