When the mainstream Communist parties in the country are engaged in introspection of their past political lines, a senior CPI leader in Kerala on Monday said withdrawal of support to the UPA-I was a "strategic mistake" of the Left.
A day after nabbing of a key
accused in the clash at proposed Posco steel plant site near
here, CPI leader and former MLA Narayan Reddy was arrested in
connection with the violence that claimed one life.
Finding fault with the
Karnataka Speaker for his allegedly partisan behaviour in
conducting the trust vote, the CPI today favoured dissolution
of the Assembly and fresh elections in the BJP-ruled state.
