Gujarat woman gang-raped, dumped near RTO Office in Unnao

LUCKNOW: In a shameful incident, a woman hailing from Gujarat was gang-raped and dumped in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district.

The woman, who was travelling to Kanpur from Ahmedabad by train, met some people known to her duirng the journey.

Pushpanjali Devi, Superintendent of Police Unnao said, "The woman dozed off during the train journey and later found herself at an unknown place where they sexually assaulted her."

The alleged rape victim was dumped near RTO Office in Unnao.

The SP confirmed that medical test has been done and police have been formed a team to nab the culprits.
