Muzaffarnagar: Two robbers were arrested after an encounter with police at Sakoti village in Shamli district, police said on Saturday.
During the encounter last evening, five policemen sustained bullet injuries, SP Ajay Pal Sharma said, adding that Insar and Nafees were also injured before being nabbed by the police.
The duo were wanted in a robbery and murder case of one Ajay who was shot dead on June 23.
