Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar flies to Delhi amid CM post speculation, while CM Siddaramaiah says he will go only if summoned by Congress high command.

The breakfast meeting between Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM Shivakumar was aimed at cooling the rumours ahead of consultations with the Congress high command. 

In a sharp political jab, BJP’s Shehzad Poonawalla mocked the ongoing Karnataka CM tussle, calling the Congress infighting a ‘breakup or makeup’ drama.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that he has no plans to meet the LoP in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, for now, regarding the alleged power struggle within the Congress in the state.

“Those who work hard will have aspirations. Can we say it is wrong?” DK Shivakumar said on November 18, highlighting his chief ministerial ambition.

Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, in a post on X, urged critics not to communalise the iconic festival, emphasising its inclusive nature. Speaking about the invite controversy, Banu Mushtaq said that she would rather enjoy the festival than be sad about all the negativity.
