Washington: While Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was already upset with Barack Obama for taxing her beloved tanning bed, she’s now about the president’s claim he didn’t know who she was.
"I know he knows who I am," the Politico quoted Snooki as telling E!.
"Why did he have to lie and say he didn`t know me? He did say Snooki and JWoww about the tanning stuff and now he doesn``t know who I am? He has to stop lying,” she added.
In his appearance on ‘The View’ on July 29, Obama went through a lightning round of pop culture questions, one of which asked whether he knew who the MTV star is.
"I`ve got to admit, I don`t know who Snooki is," he said.
However, on May 2, Obama joked about Snooki during his speech at the White House Correspondents`` Association Dinner.
"The following individuals shall be excluded from the indoor tanning tax within this bill. Snooki, J-WOWW, the Situation and House Minority Leader John Boehner,” joked Obama.
