Lindsay Lohan`s father suffers cancer scare

London: Even as Lindsay Lohan undergoes a house arrest term, her estranged father Michael is seeking treatment after a cancer scare.

The troubled actress urged Michael, 51, to seek treatment after learning `suspicious` growths had been found in his colon. He was today spotted leaving a medical centre in Los Angeles after having the growths removed, reported Daily Mail online. The reality TV star said that it was his famous daughter who encouraged him to get the treatment when she visited him shortly before her incarceration. "I told Lindsay on Sunday and she said `get this sorted out now dad`," said Michael who lost his father Richard to colon cancer two years ago. "My whole family, my boys, Dina everybody has been unbelievable. In terrible times, the family comes together," he added. Lindsay is currently under house arrest at her home in Venice, California, after pleading no contest to stealing a gold necklace from a jeweller. She will also complete 240 hours of community service. PTI
