Amy Winehouse’s drug pals ‘go to ground’

London: Amy Winehouse’s friends and drug dealers have gone hiding in fear of being dragged into her death investigation.

Winehouse’s death is still a mystery with speculations hinting that the fatal consequences might have been brought in by an overdose of drugs. It appears that even if her death is revealed out to be an accident or a suicide, detectives might decide to question the dealers she knew, along with drug users among her circle of friends. Sources on her Camden social scene admitted that many of these people are ‘frightened’ of being involved in the police probe. “A lot of the people Amy used to hang around with have gone to ground because they’re worried they’ll get caught up in the investigation,” the Daily star quoted one source as saying. “Many of her pals used drugs or have friends who are drug dealers,” the source added.
