Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra remain arch enemies

Mumbai: Bollywood beauties Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra still cannot see eye to eye. Recently, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra crossed each other’s path, completely refusing to acknowledge each other’s presence, without even saying a polite ‘Hi’. Apparently, the incident took place at an award function at the MMRDA grounds in Mumbai. Talking to a daily, an eyewitness said, “Priyanka and Katrina were next to each other for quite some time backstage. Their eyes met, but they did not give each other even a faint smile. They behaved like total strangers. There was ample opportunity for both the ladies to at least acknowledge each other’s presence but even that did not happen. Everyone around them noted this.” Priyanka and Katrina share a long history of grievances. Buzz has it that Priyanka was upset when Kat landed a plum role in Tarun Mansukhani’s ‘Dostana 2’. Likewise, Priyanka signed up for a second lead in Anurag Basu’s ‘Barfi’ when Katrina walked out of the project. It is believed that Katrina told a close friend then, “Basu had told me that they would take a newcomer in the second role. But when he did not live up to his word, I didn’t feel the need to continue.” Interestingly, Priyanka and Katrina kissed and hugged at Salman Khan’s Being Human function. Now’s that what we call ‘show’biz!
