Washington: Paris Hilton has reportedly become paranoid regarding her safety after a knife-wielding man broke into her mansion last year.
The American socialite constantly remains on her guard when appearing in public and admitted that the incident has left her "always thinking" about self-defence when she’s meeting fans at public signings and promotional events. Speaking during her new TV show, ‘The World According To Paris’, the heiress said, "just walking along the street or going anywhere or even just being on a signing, you never know who is going to show up and what their intentions are.” "I’ve already had the guy trying to break in to my home with two huge knives so you just think, ``what would he have done if he actually got in?`` I’m always thinking about that stuff," Contactmusic quoted her as saying. The socialite was at home when the knifeman, Nathan Lee Parada, allegedly tried to break into her mansion. Hilton’s boyfriend, Cy Waits had confronted Parada and held him until cops arrived to take him into custody. ANI
