Whitney Houston ‘wanted to see Jesus’ hours before death

London: Whitney Houston had reportedly told her friends that she felt her “time was coming” and spoke of “seeing Jesus” in the hours before her death.
The late singer seemed to have become increasingly spiritual, quoting Bible passages and saying she felt her end was near. Last Friday, the day before she was found slumped in the bath of her Los Angeles hotel suite, she told one friend: “I’m gonna go see Jesus. I want to see Jesus,” the Sun reported. And on Saturday, with her death hours away, she reportedly said: “You know, he’s so cool. I really want to see that Jesus.” Whitney, who battled drink and drug addictions, had claimed in one of her last interviews that she was finally comfortable with her life. The 48-year-old soul legend said she had laid her demons to rest and was focusing on raising her daughter Bobbi Kristina. ANI
