Jessica Simpson delaying wedding due to pregnancy

Washington: Singer Jessica Simpson is delaying her marriage with former NFL star Eric Johnson until after they have had their baby.

Simpson, 31, who is currently expecting her first child, is halting plans of wedding for the moment so that the couple can enjoy their time together. “They’re both still really committed to getting married and were both really into making decisions about what kind of wedding they wanted,” Contactmusic quoted a source as saying. “It’s just going to be at a later date now because they really want to enjoy this time in their lives,” the source added. The baby was not planned, but they were not actively trying to avoid having one either. “They’re really excited. It wasn’t something they planned per se, but it’s also not something they were trying to avoid,” the source told People.com. “They’re both very family-oriented and having a baby is something they both wanted.
