New York: Ex Spice Girl Melanie Brown has turned into a night owl – the singer and TV host was spotted stepping out for a gym session late at night.
The Daily Mail spotted the star stepping out of her London hotel for late-night gym workout.
But how good is it to exercise at night?
"An elevated heart rate at night can lead to feelings of restlessness," The New York Daily News quoted Monica Vazquez, master trainer from New York Sports Clubs, as saying.
"Scientifically, training in the morning help you kickstart your metabolism and keep it elevated for 24 hours," said Jay Cardiello, strength and conditioning coach and celebrity personal trainer.
Multitasking Brown just may not have time to rise and shine first thing in the morning for a gym run. The mom of a 3-year-old and an 11-year-old, the Los Angeles resident is busy promoting a new TV show as well as her workout DVD game, which can be used on a Playstation game console.
But no stranger to the fitness scene, Mel B just launched a new ‘Get Fit with Mel B’ group exercise class, and also is promoting a workout DVD game.
