Bhaiya, against whom an arrest warrant was issued by a local
court in industrialist Swatantra Rastogi kidnapping case, has
appeared before the court which granted him bail.

Madan Bhaiya appeared before additional district judge

Cancelling the arrest warrant against him and granting
bail, the judge directed Madan Bhaiya to appear in the court
on May 20.

Madan Bhaiyya along with former Meerut Mayor Arun Jain
was accused in kidnapping of industrialist Swatantra Rastogi.

Madan Bhaiya was earlier on bail. Since, he failed to
appear in person in the court, a non-bailable warrant was
issued against him on February 15, 2003.

Madan Bhaiyya appealed in the high court against the
arrest warrant. The high court stayed the execution of the
arrest warrant for 15 days but when he failed to appear in the
court on the fixed date, his bail was cancelled and an arrest
warrant issued by additional judge Meerut Shiva Sharma. A
notice was issued to bail bond persons on April 15.

The MLA Approached the high court against this and on
April 30, it ordered that Madan Bhiaya be released on fresh
bail bonds on the same day he appears before the trial court.
