Bihar polls: Tejasvi Yadav confident of Mahagathbandhan's win

 Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's son Tejasvi Yadav on Wednesday cast his vote during the third phase of the state Assembly polls and expressed confidence of the Mahagathbandhan's victory in Bihar.

"This is just beginning. The way first two phases have taken place, we are confident the Mahagathbandhan will win. This is actually a one-sided contest, BJP is nowhere in the picture," he told ANI here.

Further commenting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks on his sister Misa Bharti, he said, "The Prime Minister is worried about Bihar polls, that is why he is making such statements. Before talking about my family, he should explain about family politics in SAD in Punjab".

Polling for the third phase of the five-phase Bihar Assembly elections began at 7 a.m. amid tight security arrangements today.

A total of 808 candidates are in fray for 50 assembly seats across Bhojpur, Buxar, Nalanda, Patna, Saran and Vaishali districts.

The voting for the first two phases were held on October 12 and October 16, during which 81 assembly constituencies went to polls.
