Washington: SpaceX`s Dragon cargo ship docked at the International Space Station (ISS) on Sunday following a delay of more than a month caused by launch flaws. The robotic Dragon spacecraft arrived at the space station Sunday morning after a 36-hour journey with more than two tons of food, spacewalking gear and materials for 150 experiments. It says astronauts aboard the ISS were delighted with Easter delivery of the vital cargo. SpaceX Dragon was finally launched Friday from Cape Canaveral, and arrived without incident at 1406 GMT. NASA astronaut Rick Mastracchio and ISS mission commander Koichi Wakata of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency used the space station’s robotic arm to take hold of Dragon and attached it to the space station. This is Dragon`s third flight to the ISS. The Dragon will be repacked with science samples and equipment no longer needed on the space station and when it returns to Earth in about a month.
