London: Premier League champions Manchester United and one other unnamed top England club are reportedly pursuing unsettled Real Madrid star Kaka.
According to Metro.co.uk, the Brazilian international, who joined Madrid for a then-world record 56 million pounds from AC Milan, is rumoured to be unhappy among the Spanish giants and is keen on a move ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Rio. The report further said that the news that Kaka, who made just 25 appearances for Madrid last season, scored only four goals and was not selected for Brazil`s Confederations Cup campaign, is unsettled has alerted United, and another Premier League club rumoured to be Arsenal, along with AC Milan. Meanwhile, Kaka had said in an interview that although he is feeling good physically, Real knows about his situation within its ranks for which he would like a solution, adding that the club knows that he would like to go from there. Kaka further said that there is increasingly less room for him among the Spanish giants, which is making it difficult for him to train and work and has also made him unhappy. Kaka was often behind Mesut Ozil and Luka Modric in the pecking order last season and with the arrival of young talent Isco and the imminent signing of Gareth Bale, the playmaker is set to find his chances even more limited this term, the report added.
