In a fresh development in the 2002 hit-and-run case involving Bollywood actor Salman Khan, a lawyer today demanded that the court should summon the singer Kamaal Khan as a witness to shed light on who was driving the car at the time of the 2002 mishap.
Reacting to the court's order, Manmohan Singh said, "I'm upset with the court's summons but it is part of life," adding, that he is open to legal scrutiny. The former PM said that he hasn't seen the court order and that he will reply after consulting his lawyers.
