वणवा पिसाटला! 'जगाचं फुफ्फुस' पेटल्यामुळे सेलिब्रिटी कासावीस

मुंबई : सोशल मीडियावर वारंवार फोटो किंवा व्हिडिओ पोस्ट करणारे बरेचजण गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून काही चिंतातूर करणारे फोटो पोस्ट करत आहेत. यामध्ये अनेक सेलिब्रिटींचाही समावेश आहे. मुख्य म्हणजे या मंडळींच्या पोस्ट पाहाता अनेकांनाच साऱ्या विश्वात चर्चेचा विषय ठरणाऱ्या या मुद्द्यामुळे असंख्य प्रश्नांचा काहूर माजला आहे. 

हा विषय म्हणजे एका महाकाय वनक्षेत्राला लागलेली आग. जवळपास गेल्या तीन आठवड्यांपासून ब्राझीलच्या ऍमेझॉन वर्षावनांमध्ये ही आग धुमसत असून जंगलांचा बराच भाग यात भस्म झाला आहे. संपूर्ण जगामध्ये जवळपास २० टक्के ऑक्सिजनची निर्मिती ही या वर्षावनांमधून होते, त्यातच आता जगाचं फुफ्फुस म्हणून ओळखल्या जाणाऱ्या याच वनांमध्ये हे विदारक चित्र पाहायला मिळत आहे.

निसर्गामध्ये होणारे हे बदल आणि त्याचा मानवी जीवनावर होणारा थेट परिणाम या सर्व गोष्टी सेलिब्रिटींनी सर्वांसमक्ष आणल्या आहेत. फक्त सेलिब्रिटीच नव्हे, तर अनेक नेटकऱ्यांनीही ऍमेझॉनच्या वर्षावनाची छायाचित्र पोस्ट करत जगातील जीवसृष्टीवर याचे कशा प्रकारे अनिष्ट परिणाम होऊ शकतात याविषयीची संभाव्य बाबही सर्वांसमोर ठेवली.
