This year`s China Open, scheduled to run from September 15-20 in Changzhou, has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Badminton World Federation (BWF) said. The BWF also said in a statement the Taiwan Open (September 1-6), Korea Open (September 8-13) and Japan Open (September 22-27) had also been cancelled. The China Open was one of three BWF Super-1000 category events scheduled during the year.
