Satya Pal Malik has claimed that he was offered a bribe for clearing the files related to an insurance scheme during his tenure as the J&K Governor.

Satya Pal Malik, who was then governor of J&K, has recently alleged intelligence failures in the Pulwama attack case and that the central government denied aircraft for the movement of CRPF personnel.

Satyapal Malik News: CBI called former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satyapal Malik for questioning, in fact CBI has given time of 27-28 April in the matter of offering bribe of Rs 300 crore while he was in the post of Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.

Former Governor Satyapal Malik has received CBI summons. Satyapal Malik had complained of corruption. After which Satyapal Malik has been called for investigation in the Reliance insurance scam.

"They want certain clarifications for which they want my presence. I am going to Rajasthan so I have given them dates from April 27 to 29 when I am available," Malik said. The CBI had examined him in connection with the alleged scam last year.

In an interview with a private TV news channel, Malik claimed his security was taken away because he spoke on the farmers' issue and the Centre's Agniveer scheme.

Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik described Jagdeep Dhankhar as "deserving".

Satya Pal Malik urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to withdraw the Agnipath scheme. The Congress and the Trinamool Congress have also come out against the project. Nitish Kumar's United Janata Dal has also raised its voice against 'Agneepath' scheme.

Guv Satya Pal Malik had claimed that the Prime Minister was not ready to accept that farmers who were protesting against farm laws died due to him.

Appointed governor - in Jammu and Kashmir and Goa, before being posted to Meghalaya - during Narendra Modi's term as prime minister, Malik has been taking swipes at the government.

During an exclusive conversation with Zee News, Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik congratulated the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws by the central government. Simultaneously, Satyapal Malik said that without MSP, the welfare of farmers is not possible.

Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik said that the farmers' movement is also making an impact on the country`s armed forces as farmers’ sons are employed there.

Malik also alleged that Kashmir is the most corrupt place in the country.

The former Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik had allegedly said Mehbooba Mufti was a beneficiary of the now-abandoned Roshni scheme which aimed to grant proprietary rights to occupants of state land for charges.

SP Malik said, "They do not know how they are becoming poor. The 'satyanaash' (annihilation) of the farmers is taking place without their knowledge" "When they go to sow (crops), there is some price, and when they go to reap it, the price decreases by almost Rs 300" Malik said

Malik was appointed the Governor of Goa on October 25, 2019 and took the charge on November 3. Prior to this, Malik was Governor of Jammu & Kashmir from August 2018 to October 2019. But, after the state was bifurcated into two Union territories, he was moved to Goa.

Emphasising on the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, he said that no casualty has taken place in the Valley since August 5, the day when Centre announced the repealing of Article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik said some leaders of the erstwhile state will go to jail for their involvement in corrupt practices.

Murmu is the first lieutenant governor of Jammu and Kashmir. He is a 1985 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Gujarat cadre and was the principal secretary to Narendra Modi during his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister.
