Lucknow Super Giants have appointed former Australian all-rounder Tom Moody as their new Global Director of Cricket, replacing Zaheer Khan. With his vast coaching experience and IPL success with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Moody aims to guide LSG toward their maiden IPL title in the 2026 season.

Both centuries were exceptional in their own right, yet one made a more significant impact, prompting former Australian cricketer Tom Moody to make an audacious remark as he compared the two remarkable hundreds.

Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder Washington Sundar re-injured his bowling finger while fielding against Chennai Super Kings in their IPL 2022 match on Sunday (May 1).

During the SRH vs GT match, Washington Sundar got injured and couldn’t bowl his full quota of overs. His three wicketless overs – two of which were in the powerplay – went for just 14 runs.

Boult has been a potent weapon in Mumbai Indians armory this season with 22 wickets from 14 games. He was traded by Delhi Capitals to Mumbai Indians before IPL 2020. Former SRH coach Tom Moody called the decision to trade Boult extraordinary and criticized the Capitals for the decision.

Solanki has appeared in 51 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals for England between 2000 and 2007 and amassed a total of 1,172 runs .

Ravi Shastri came first followed by Hesson and Moody at second and third place respectively.

Simmons was one of the six candidates shortlisted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the high-profile post.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is expected to name the next head coach of the Indian men's cricket team on Friday from the shortlisted six candidates, including incumbent Ravi Shastri.       

Apart from Shastri, there are two more Indians who have been shortlisted for the post -- former cricketer Lalchand Rajput and Robin Singh.

As for who would partner Warner at the top, Moody dropped hints that his side may use Englishman Jonny Bairstow who also gives the wicket-keeping option.

 Hyderabad lost to Chennai in the IPL Qualifier 1 just a few days back but their head coach Tom Moody said that his side would not think of the past match but focus on their brand of cricket in Sunday's summit clash.

 SRH are currently at the top of IPL table but their head coach Tom Moody said they were at the moment not focussing on qualifying for the play-offs.

The Afghanistan legspinner has made rapid strides since making his international debut in 2015 as a 17-year-old and in February became the youngest to top the ICC rankings for bowlers in T20Is and ODIs.
