The Center has issued the latest guidelines for disks to provide 24-hour power supply in towns with a population of over one lakh. If there is any problem and the current goes out .. it is ordered to be restored in three minutes. A new gazette notification has been issued amending the Electricity Consumer Rights Code -2020 with new guidelines. The Center has directed that if anyone applies for electricity connection for temporary needs, it should be given within 48 hours. If facilities like power lines need to be provided in the area, the connection should be given within a maximum of 7 days.
